A modified version of the Blue Destiny Unit 2, the BDU 4 features a wider variety of hand held weaponry to allow for greater versatility in combat. Among the new weapons are a modified beam rifle with an underslung grenade launcher, a long-range cannon with a slow rate of fire but high accuracy, a rapid fire machinegun and a powerful bazooka. An additional pair of head vulcans have been added, as have a pair of grenade launchers on the forearms. The old luna titanium armor has been replaced with the lighter and more durable Gundarium Gamma alloy, making the Unit 4 faster and more maneuverable than before.
