A specially modified Serpent for the specific use of Instructor Suvarov, the Serpent Custom features Gundanium armor, a reinforced frame, and improved mobility, as well as some additional weapons. Aside from a pair of beam sabers and head vulcans, the Serpent Custom is capable of wielding two large, powerful Assault Gatling units, consisting of an unusually large bore beam gatling, a sixteen-tube missile launcher, and a shield along the outside. The Assault Gatlings are specifically designed for anti-Gundam warfare and are capable of chewing through even heavy armor quickly at close range.

Suvarov is capable of making the Serpent maneuver in a way all out of proportion to what one would expect for what is basically a walking gun battery, as many HRL pilots have found to their surprise.
