Occupants:
On the coast several miles to the north of Blenheim on New Zealand’s southern island lays a mine named Charybdis. It is arranged in a V shape with the point facing inland. The naval port is at the bottom of the V where the two arms meet, and the airfield is located on bottom end of the left arm, while the right arm plays host to the mining facilities. The fixed guns are placed around the perimiter with a good number of the AA weapons located around the command center.
There are two hangars per arm, the ones on the left located on/near the airfield for deploying airborne mobile suits, the ones on the right for land mobile suits and positioned to protect the mining facilties, and the one at the center for naval mobile suits. The Heavy Cannons are arranged 1 on the tip of each arm, 1 on either side of the command center, and the remaining two on the very tip of the V shape. The other fixed turrets facing the ocean on the arms of the V are staggered to avoid hitting each other should someone try to land by making a beeline for the naval dock. The heavier defenses are in part due to the facility’s mining of uranium, and shipments going from the mine are heavily guarded. As the possibility of amphibious attack is likely, the missile launchers can be outfitted with ASROCs in case of such attack.
