Superior attacks Barbados
Barbados roared to life, aware of the incoming mobile suit well before it reached the horizon thanks to the massive radar array at the ESA’s Guantanamo base. Flying low over the dark blue waters of the Caribbean, Zelphis was unaware that not only had he lost the element of surprise, but that the situation had been completely reversed. Even though Barbados’ multitudes of missile launchers were all capable of tagging the Superior Gundam, only one turret fired sending two missiles as a warning to the marauding mobile suit.
ALICE picked up the projectiles as they screamed toward her and Zelphis, displaying the objects on one of the numerous screens in the gundam’s cockpit.
“Where did those come from?!”
Caught completely off guard by the volley of missiles, Zelphis frantically tried to evade the guided rockets. However his inexperience worked against him, managing to evade one of the missiles more out of luck than skill, the other hitting the Superior Gundam. While the impact did only minimal damage, it was enough to shake up Zelphis, the pilot quickly aborting his attack on Barbados well before he was even able to see the base.
Outcome: Barbados stands, Superior escapes.
Superior Gundam: 5 VP, 1 days damage.

Mogadishu attacks Wing Zero
Arguably the Atlantic Federation’s most infamous base, Mogadishu controlled everything within range of the massive Noventa Cannon. Seemingly baked into the mountains in the harsh African sun, the only sign of life for miles being the preparations to fire the massive cannon that jutted out from the top of the sun bleached peak.
“We’re at one hundred percent sir, we’re ready to fire.”
The base’s commander only nodded as he watched the small blip on the radar that kept disappearing and reappearing as it traveled across the edge of Federation airspace.
“Let’s wish him a good afternoon. Fire.”
“Yes sir!”
Inside of the Wing Zero, Dmitri Strathmore was unaware that while his gundanium alloy reduced his radar cross section, it didn’t make him completely invisible, as the massive blast heading toward him was about to make clear. As the beam closed in, it set off the Zero’s alarms, Dmitri lost for words momentarily as he watched it race toward him. Seconds seemed to turn into minutes as he flew his Gundam in its Neo-Bird mode upward to avoid the blast. For a moment he thought he was free, the beam seemingly on a trajectory to miss, however the beam itself splintered into a dozen other beams, many of them streaking toward the Wing Zero. The explosions rocked the blue and red mobile suit, sending it plummeting from the multiple impacts.
“Come on!”
Dmitri fought with the Wing Zero’s controls, trying to stabilize the mobile suit as it spun earthward, recovering at a couple hundred feet from the ground. Without waiting for a second shot, Dmitri immediately cut north, flying away from the base he knew that had fired the shot with only a muttered “Friggin’ Mogadishu *&%!. Must have nothing better to do.”
Outcome: Mogadishu stands, Wing Zero escapes.
Wing Zero: 7 VP, 2 days damage.
