Also known as Space Fortress B-GM, this over-sized mobile fortress served as the headquarters of the Earth Sphere Alliance Space Forces. It was destroyed by a massive ZAFT/Guild joint attack during the early weeks of the Space War, and the voluminous amount of wreckage has drifted for decades since, occasionally posing a navigation hazard as the field moves through shipping lanes. Earth Union Naval Intelligence has suggested that pirates and other brigands have used the husk of the fortress as a temporary hideout to evade pursuit in several instances.
