A forbidding, battle-scarred spire, floating in the sky over the Earth. It suddenly appeared one day, out of nowhere, casting it’s shadow across the world. It’s outer hull features thousands of scars from bullets and beams alike, showing the attempts of uncountable attackers to claw it out of the sky and send it hurtling to Earth.

Whatever structures were once atop the Aviary, they are now little more than twisted rubble, interspersed with the wreckage of uncounted mobile suits. In the center sits a strange, opalesecent cocoon…
