Description: Atlas was built by a private group that provided funding to Edward Night, and he managed to get the HRL to approve of it to be build on Europa as a new base for future space developments. The base was built to support efforts explore the distant planets and moons for valuable resources and research on the distant planets in hopes of bringing riches to boost their war economy.

Most of the base is built into and beneaththe endless ice of Europa, with the only entrance being three large, concealed doors which lead to the hangar areas. There are additional elevators to deploy mobile suits into the water beneath the ice, if enemies attempt to launch an assault from below.

Below the hangar area is the base itsself, shaped something like a giant cone. The base is intentionally designed to be difficult to attack from the surface; Europa’s thick ice confounds matters in that direction, while attackers will presumably be subjected to barrages of torpedoes and so forth if they attack from the depths.

All turrets are fitted onto popup mounts, both below and above the water.
