Situated in Uganda, the Lake Victoria base is one of the Atlantic Federation’s principle mobile suit production centers. It is relatively flat and spaced out in construction, with plenty of room for mobile suits to march about and conduct training exercises and sprawling industrial complexes sprouting up amid hangars and warehouses. It is well fortified with multiple rings of defensive emplacements, but the lack of any sort of natural terrain advantages in the area makes it more vulnerable to attack than comparably well-established bases.

Aside from churning out new models of Daughtress mobile suits and serving as a training academy for pilots, Lake Victoria also serves as an important triangulation point for the Noventa Cannon at the Mogadishu fortress, allowing it to bombard large troop movements throughout much of Equatorial Africa. Likewise, the Cannon can also defend Lake Victoria from large scale attacks, but for obvious reasons is of no use if enemy forces get too close to the perimeter.

The Daughtresses built at Lake Victoria were formerly sent by train to Cape Town for distribution to other Atlantic Federation bases; when that base was taken over by ZAFT, the Suez headquarters was re-aligned to receive the completed mobile suits.
