Spells
These are the spells you will get when you advance a level, or are chosen to learn them. I hope I made the definitions clear enough to help you other battle writers.


Ice Blast- You shoot a magical ball of ice out of your hands. Particularly effective against fire-based magic.
Level 1- Extreme cold 
Level 2- Can freeze a small creek 
Level 3- Can freeze a river.

Fire Blast-You shoot a magical ball of fire out of your hands. Particularly effective against ice-based magic. 
Level 1- Extreme heat 
Level 2- Can melt 5 square feet of snow. 
Level 3- Can burn even the coldest mountains.

Hydro Blast- You fire a big blast of water.
Level 1- Enough to knock the opponent backwards.
Level 2- Enough to knock the opponent down.
Level 3- Enough to send the opponent flying.

Lightning Blast- You can shoot lightning bolts of varying power out of your hand or main weapon.
Level 1- 100 volts 
Level 2- 1000 volts 
Level 3- 50,000 volts, but drains you of your energy.

Blast- This spell allows you to channel energy out of your hands in the form of a blast.
Level 1- Stunning power 
Level 2- Deadly power 
Level 3- Mountain-leveling power.

Healing- You can manually aid your natural healing, drastically reducing the overall healing time.
Level 1- Slight healing abilities 
Level 2- Moderate Healing abilities, even healing others in or out of battle 
Level 3- Strong healing, allows you to fight until you sustain what would normally be a fatal blow.

Flash- Allows you to blind your target.
Level 1- Target is blinded for a couple of seconds.
Level 2- Target is blinded for half a minute 
Level 3- Target is blinded for a couple minutes.

Invisibility- You become invisible.
Level 1- Invisible for 30 seconds.
Level 2- Invisible for 3 minutes.
Level 3- Invisible for as long as the user does not get hit.

AniMorph- You can change or turn into animals and use there abilities to help yourself.
Level 1-  Change into small animals for 30 minutes to an hour or until you become tired
Level 2-  Change into Large animals for 30 minutes to an hour or whenever you tire
Level 3-  Change into any animal until you tire

Sleep- Allows you to hypnotize your opponent to sleep.
Level 1- Has a low chance of putting the enemy to sleep.
Level 2- Has a medium chance of putting the enemy to sleep.
Level 3- Has a high chance of putting the enemy to sleep.

Harm- This is a nasty little spell. You can cause various things to happen to evil people, demons, and the undead. Take a look.
Level 1- Arms and legs fall off, and eyes begin to burn. 
Level 2- Evil energy is changed to good, causing the demon to be paralyzed temporarily until he can change his alignment again 
Level 3- Arms and legs fall off, and sprout new undead warriors that obey you.

Zap- You send enemies to an alternate dimension.
Level 1- Opponent stays in the alternate dimension for 5 minutes.
Level 2- Opponent stays in alternate dimension for 25 minutes.
Level 3- Opponent stays in alternate dimension until the user is knocked unconscious.

Ghoul Touch- You hand becomes endowed with cold, dark, evil supernatural energy.
Level 1- Target becomes very cold and shivers uncontrollably.
Level 2- Target becomes very cold and is weakened.
Level 3- Target becomes too weak to do anything and has a chance of dying.

Ground Fissure- You can cause the ground to crack, or to fissure in unpredictable ways.
Level 1- A small crack in the ground 
Level 2- Slight tremors 
Level 3- Complete mastery over the ground.

Sonic Scream- Like the fabled Banshee's of myth, you can let loose a lethal scream.
Level 1- Stunning power 
Level 2- Slight injuring power 
Level 3- Rattles the bones and interior organs, and can cause death.

Mindless Weapon- Your weapons can fight by themselves when fueled by your magic power.
Level 1- 1 weapon 
Level 2- 2 weapons 
Level 3- 5 weapons

Energy Weapon- Your main weapon is coated in energy. The time you can sustain it grows as your level does.
Level 1- 30 seconds
Level 2- 5 minutes
Level 3- 30 minutes.
This becomes default for your weapons when you become a Dragoon.

Magical Shield- You are surrouned by an energy shield which almost nothing can penetrate.
Level 1- Full frontal protection
Level 2- 360 degree protection
Level 3- Can partially absorb the energy that strikes the shield. The shield can be held up for a minute at the most.

Animate Shield- If you have a shield, you don't have to hold it.
Level 1- Frees hands from holding the shield, it stays about 3 inches from the users body.
Level 2- Frees hands from shield, stays about 3 inches from the users body, and it moves with the user's thoughts to block.
Level 3- Frees hands from shield, stays about 3 inches from the users body, and it moves by it's self to block.

Psi Sword
- A magical long sword, composed purely of energy, erupts from the end of your hand, like a claw.
Level 1- Causes minor damage, can temporarily disrupt magic use.
Level 2- Causes moderate damage, can cause magic to spike uncontrollably in the victim.
Level 3- Causes major damage, a direct hit causes magic inside of the victim to paralyze the victim.

Nuke- You can incinerate your enemy in fire.
Level 1- 20 square feet 
Level 2- 100 yards 
Level 3- Fort destroying power, but can hurt you as well and drains all of your energy.

Whirlwind Attack
- A spinning dance of earth.
Level 1- Increases attack power some 
Level 2- Cuts through 5 trees 
Level 3- Forest destroying power

Molten Boulder- A large rolling ball of lava is created.
Level 1- Could take out 1 tree 
Level 2- Could knock through a fort wall 
Level 3- Very powerful, almost certain death if it hits a target.

Plant Control- Allows you to take control of the various plants around you, like a vine entrap your enemy, etc.
Level 1- Get control of roots
Level 2- Get control of branches
Level 3- Get control of all plant material

Super Speed- You have incredible speed, and you leave an after-image.
Level 1- Super Speed for 30 seconds
Level 2- Super Speed for 2 minutes.
Level 3- Super Speed until you are hit.

Energy Drain- A spell that as soon as you touch your opponent it drains the
energy from them and gives half of it for your own usage.
Level 1- Slightly weakens your opponent.
Level 2- Enough to knock opponent unconscious for 5 minutes .
Level 3- Enough to knock opponent unconscious for a day.

Transform: Dragon- Lets you transform into a dragon and fight opponents with dragon abilities.
Level 1- Transforms you into a dragonling and gives you spell Fire Blast 1 until transform wears off, 1-5 minutes of transformation
Level 2- Transform into a part-grown dragon, have spell Fire Blast 2, 2-25 minutes
Level 3- Transform into fully-grown dragon, get spell Fire Blast 3, 3-50 minutes.

Energy Form- Borrows energy from every living thing around you to turn you into a super human and abilities such as super strength and speed. Lasts for
little amounts of time though.
Level 1: 1-5 minutes of energy
Level 2: 2-25 minutes of energy
Level 3: 3-50 minutes of energy.

Fly- Allows you to fly, thereby increasing your attack and defense.
Level 1- 15 minutes of flight.
Level 2- 30 minutes of flight.
Level 3- Sustained flight. (Becomes default when you are a Dragoon)

Enlarge-Turns you into a giant, strength increases proportionallly.
Level 1- 8 foot giant, 5 minutes
Level 2- 10 foot giant, 15 minutes
Level 3- 20 foot giant, 30 minutes

Fog Cloud- You create a fog cloud that is great for confusing the enemy.
Level 1- A cloud that covers 20 square feet.
Level 2- A cloud that covers 100 yards.
Level 3- A cloud that covers 1 mile.

Ray of Enfeeblement- You fire a beam that weakens the opponent physically and magically.
Level 1- 25% loss of energy for opponent.
Level 2- 50% loss of energy.
Level 3- 75% loss of energy.

Entangle- The plants around you wrap around your opponent.
Level 1- All small plants.
Level 2- All medium sized plants.
Level 3- All plants.

Chromatic Orb- Fires a small blast attack that can take on the color of any
element, and has the properties of that element
Level 1- 1 Element
Level 2- 2 Elements
Level 3- All Elements

Bio- Poisons target.
Level 1- Mild poison
Level 2- Moderate poison
Level 3- Lethal poison

Anti-Poison- Cures poison
Level 1- Cures mild poison
Level 2- Cures moderate poison
Level 3- Cures lethal poison

ReGen- Slowely cures yourself, but keeps curing yourself over time
Level 1- Cures you in 1 hour
Level 2- Cures you in 45 minutes
Level 3- Cures you in 10 minutes.

Silence- Prevents the enemy from casting spells
Level 1- Enemy cannot cast spells for 1 minute.
Level 2- Enemy cannot cast spells for 15 miinutes.
Level 3- Enemy cannot cast spells for 45 minutes.

Slow- Opposite of super speed, it slows down your opponent.
Level 1- Slows down your opponent for 10 seconds.
Level 2- Slows down your opponent for 10 minutes.
Level 3- Slows down your opponent for 45 minutes.

Stop- Stops time.
Level 1- 3 seconds
Level 2- 30 seconds
Level 3- 3 minutes

Anti-Barrier- Drops magic barrier spells
Level 1- Weakens magic barriers
Level 2- Damages magic barriers.
Level 3- Destroys magic barriers.

Reflect Spell- A shield that is held for a split second, bounces spells back at caster.
Level 1- Small shield
Level 2- Medium shield
Level 3- Large shield

Comet- Makes rocks fall from the sky
Level 1- 10 small rocks
Level 2- 15 medium sized rocks
Level 3- A full blown meteor shower

Life Drain- Drains the energy from the opponent and gives it to you.
Level 1- Drains 25% of the opponent's energy.
Level 2- Drains 50% of the opponent's energy.
Level 3- Drains 75% of the opponents energy.

Lure- Reduces time on dragon hunts by 1, 2, 3 days
Level 1- 1 Day
Level 2- 2 Days
Level 3- 3 Days

Dark Ritual- When cast, all your spells are much stronger for the rest of the battle.
Level 1- A little stronger
Level 2- Comparatively stronger
Level 3- Much stronger

Enemy Skill- Allows you to use a spell that was just used on you
Level 1- A proportion of the power.
Level 2- Original power.
Level 3- Extreme power.

Mind Control- Allows you to possess the weak-minded.
Level 1- Control for 5 minutes.
Level 2- Control for 15 minutes.
Level 3- Control until the user has been knocked out or discontinues the spell.

Astrology- Used every night by the caster, it tells him what will happen in  the near future, and makes him aware of ambushes
Level 1- Dim accuracy
Level 2- Medium accuracy
Level 3- Total accuracy

Nova- Like blast, releases energy in all directions that spreads outward.
Level 1- Little nova
Level 2- Medium nova
Level 3- Huge nova
                                                                                                       
Fire Nova- Like Nova, but releases flame.

Ice Nova- Like Nova, but releases frost.
Level 1- Little nova
Level 2- Medium nova
Level 3- Huge nova

Lightning Nova- Like Nova, but releases electricity
Level 1- Little nova
Level 2- Medium nova
Level 3- Huge nova

Mirror Image- Makes an exact copy of you that fights by itself, so you dont know who is who.
Level 1- 1 copy
Level 2- 2 copies
Level 3- 5 copies

Teleport- Allows you to teleport around the battle field.
Level 1- Teleport up to 45 yards away.
Level 2- Teleport up to 100 yards away.
Level 3- Teleport anywhere you can see with your own eyes.

Mass Courage- Instills a fighting spirit to regular troups, allowing them to  fight better (IE NPC defences)
Level 1- Weak courage
Level 2- Medium courage
Level 3- Strong courage

Wind Manipulation- Allows you to make the air do what you want
Level 1- Slight manipulation
Level 2- Medium manipulation
Level 3- Complete manipulation

Fire Manipulation- See above, with fire
Level 1- Slight manipulation
Level 2- Medium manipulation
Level 3- Complete manipulation

Water Manipulation- See above, with water
Level 1- Slight manipulation
Level 2- Medium manipulation
Level 3- Complete manipulation

Flame Weapon- Creates a weapon out of fire
Level 1- Small Weapon
Level 2- Medium Weapon
Level 3- Large  weapon

Water Weapon- Creates a weapon out of water.
Level 1- Small weapon
Level 2- Medium weapon
Level 3- Large weapon

Earth Weapon- Creates a weapon out of Earth.
Level 1- Small weapon
Level 2- Medium weapon
Level 3- Large weapon

Wind Weapon- Creates a weapon out of wind.
Level 1- Small weapon
Level 2- Medium weapon
Level 3- Large Weapon

Anti-Magic Nova- A nova that dispells magic in the area.
Level 1- Some magic
Level 2- More Magic
Level 3- All Magic

Fire Skin- Anything you touch is burned.
Level 1- Minor burns
Level 2- Moderate burns
Level 3- Major burns

Ice Skin- Anything you touch is frozen.
Level 1- Slight freezing
Level 2- Arms are frozen
Level 3- 50% of the opponent's body is frozen.

Electric Skin- You shock anything you touch.
Level 1- Slight shock
Level 2- Moderate shock
Level 3- Lethal shock

Fire Armor- A layer of fire-like energy covers your body, giving you partial magical protection from ice spells.
Level 1- 3 Minutes of Temporary protection
Level 2- 10 Minutes of Temporary protection
Level 3- 30 Minutes of Temporary protection

Ice Armor- A layer of ice-like energy covers your body, giving you partial magical protection from normal energy blast spells and such.
Level 1- 3 Minutes of temporary protection
Level 2- 10 Minutes of temporary protection
Level 3- 30 Minutes of temporary protection

Lightning Armor- A layer of electric-like energy covers your body, giving you partial magical protection from fire spells.
Level 1- 3 Minutes of temporary protection.
Level 2- 10 Minutes of temporary protection.
Level 3- 30 Minutes of temporary protection.

Cyclone Armor- Elemental armor that takes damage for you.
Level 1- Takes 25% damage 
Level 2- Takes 50% damage 
Level 3- Takes 75% damage, and casts Whirlwind Attack Level 1

Bone Armor- A layer of bone armor, that covers you and any other armor you have for the battle at hand.
Level 1- 5 Minutes of armor.
Level 2- 10 Minutes of armor.
Level 3- Armor lasts until the battle is over or the armor is destroyed.

Meteor Shower- Golfball size chunks of space rocks
Level 1- 20 small chunks of rocks
Level 2- 45 medium chunks of rocks
Level 3- 100 or more large chunks of space rocks

Weather Manipulation- You control the weather to help you in battle.
Level 1- Slight weather manipulation
Level 2- Medium weather manipulation
Level 2- Total weather manipulation.

Dispell Summoned- Dispells summoned creatures
Level 1- 1 creature
Level 2- 3 creatures
Level 3- 5 creatures

Summon: Golems- You can summon up a Golem. A golem is a large, humanoid creature that is made out of rock.
Level 1- 2 Golem 
Level 2- 3 Golems 
Level 3- 5 Golems

Summon: Blood Golem- You summon a golem, however, it is red, and it's strength is tied to yours. When it gets injured, you feel a fraction of it's pain.
Level 1- Basic Blood Golem
Level 2- Strong Blood Golem 
Level 3- Lethal Blood Golem, armed with a large sword.

Summon: Steel Golems- You summon steel-coated golems to fight with you.
Level 1- 1 Steel Golem
Level 2- 2 Steel Golems
Level 3- 3 Steel Golems, armed with large swords.

Summon: Giant- Allows you to summon a Giant.
Level 1- 1 12 ft. tall Giant w/ a large bastard sword.
Level 2- 1 24 ft. tall Giant w/ leather armor and a broad sword.
Level 3: 1 36 ft. tall Giant with full steel body armor and a giant lance.

Summon: Centaurs- You can summon the half horse half man animals to help you in your battle
Level 1- 3 Centaurs armed with chain mail armor, a sword, leather barding and a wooden shield
Level 2- 5 Centaurs armed with chain mail armor, a sword, leather barding and a wooden shield
Level 3- 10 Centaurs armed with chain mail armor, a sword, leather barding and a wooden shield

Summon: Goblin- You summon a goblin or tons of goblins to help you during battle.
Level 1- 1-3 Regular Goblins
Level 2- 1-3 Spirit Goblins
Level 3- 4-8 Demon Goblins armed with long sharp fingernails and evil magic...

Summon: Dust Devil- Summons a small wind spirit, taking the form of a tornado. Weak
but can only be harmed by spells.
Level 1- Small wind disturbance.
Level 2- Fast wind
Level 3- Hurricane status

Summon: Skeletons- You summon an army of skeletons. The number grows as your level does.
Level 1- 5 Skeletons 
Level 2- 25 Skeletons 
Level 3- 50 Skeletons, w/ chain-mail armor and iron shield. The skeletons are armed with a sword and a dagger.

Summon: Zombies- You can summon the dead to do your bidding...
Level 1- 1-5 Zombies armed with a sword
Level 2- 5-15 Zombies armed with a sword
Level 3- 20- 35 Zombies armed with chain mail armorand a sword

Summon: Hovering Skull- Summons a skull that hovers around and attacks enemies
Level 1- Skull is active for 5 minutes.
Level 2- Skull is active for 10 minutes.
Level 3- Skull is active until destroyed, and instills great fear on anyone it touches.

Summon: Raptors-You can summon raptors to help you in battle.
Level 1- 1 raptor
Level 2- 2 raptors
Level 3- 6 raptors, or 3 raptoids (human-like raptors that are armed with swords, steel armor, and a steel shield)

Summon: Horse-You summon a horse to fight with during battle.
Level 1- Bone Horse
Level 2- Iron Horse
Level 3- Steel Horse

Summon: Grizzly- You summon grizzly bears to fight with you.
Level 1- 1 Grizzly
Level 2- 2 Grizzlies
Level 3- 4 Grizzlies, or 2 grizzlems (human-like grizzly bears armed with long swords, steel armor, and a steel shield.)

Summon: Tigers- You can summon tigers to fight with you.
Level 1- 1 Tiger
Level 2- 3 Tigers
Level 3- 8 Tigers, or 4 tigermen (human-like tigers, armed with swords, a steel shield, and steel armor.)

Summon: Wolves- You summon wolves to fight with you.
Level 1- 1 wolf 
Level 2- 3 wolves 
Level 3- 10 wolves or 5 wolfen (human-like wolves that are armed with swords, a steel shield, and steel armor)
