Rules:
Welcome to the All Gundam RPG War of the Corporations. This RPG takes place in an alternate reality of the Gundam universe. It has all the mobile weapons that were ever in a Gundam series. This is includes the mobile weapons from the Universal Century to the mobile weapons found in the new series Gundam SEED. This means everything. Anyways the current situation at the start of the RPG is that Earth has been made into a war zone. The major powers of this RPG are the corporations. Not the military organizations of the series. This is due to the fact that the corporations have become so powerful and rich that they bought the governments out. This happened shortly before the time that One Year War would of happened. With out the governments of the past alot of conflict has been avoided.

But this could only last so long. The strongest corporation that is known as Anahiem Electronics split in two due to the main branch of the company's discrimination of the Earth branch. The Earth branch grew tired and cut all ties they had to the head office. They then designed mobile suits of there own and joined forces with groups that weren't powerful enough to stand up to the other corporations. When this happened they had a sizable military presense at half the cost of the other armies of the other Corporations they became known as the Earth Alliance while the rest of Anahiem Electronics changed their name to Crystal Electronis. Earth Alliance attacked and took control of the installations on Earth that was still controled by Crystal Electronics.

Feeling this as an act of war Crystal Electronics dispatched some of its elite forces and invaded the Earth. They attacked and took back one of their bases but they decided to use this war to their advantage and attacked the installations owned by the other corporations. At this time all the main corporations had some kind of presense on Earth. Well Crystal Electronics was unable to capture or destroy any of those installations but it had the effect they wanted it to have. With this attack the other corporations realized that they could start outright conflict with the organizations that they hated for so long and if they are lucky come out on top as the organization as the only corporation. They decided to start by taking Earth. This is where you come in. You will join as a member of one of these corporations and go from there as you choose. The only corporation to remain out of the fighting is the Venge Colony Corporation. They find this war as way to earn themselves more money. Also this organization has a powerful military so be careful not to cross them.

The Rules that are Standard:

1) The first rule you should be aware of is that there will be no racism, sexism, religious, foul etc... language in the rpg. I will allow you to do it somewhat in roleplaying. Out side of roleplaying it will be met with severe penalties.

2) I may make mistakes now and then and alot of times it will be up to you to point these out to me. The nicer you are about it when you tell me the more likely you will like how I will fix it. If you are rude about it you won't like what happens. You can either tell me about in the chat, on the Question board, or over email which ever is easier for you to do.

Also I would like it if you didn't argue about the outcomes of battles. If you felt that I forgot something in the battle or whatever you can bring that to my attention but as soon as you start arguing I will either take away vp or just expell you from the rpg. Simple as that.

3) Stay active. If you can't for a specific reason like you have to go somewhere for a week or more let me know on the main board. Otherwise you will be removed from the rpg.

4) No non-human pilots. Like come on a monkey can't pilot a mobile suit. And neither can a haro so don't even try. If I see this happen I will remove you or just delete the email. Easy as that.

5) This is the most important rule of them all. You must have fun. If you can't then why did you even join? Things that happen in the rpg should stay there. Thus no hacking of other peoples computers because you are angry over something they did to you.

Updating and Emailing:

I will updating Monday - Friday at 6:00 PM pacific time. I will except actions during these days until 6:00 PM pacific time. Joining Emails I will accept any time and add the people who join when I update next. Also any questions you may have can be sent any time. I will answer the email as soon as I see it. Also I will have a board set up for questions that you should also use. Also note that if you keep asking me if I am finished updating yet or is it up yet I will deduct 10 vp from your character each time. I will only give one warning.

To do actions and the other stuff like that in this RPG you will have to email it in. The RPG email is msgwotc@yahoo.ca. Remember that it is .ca not .com if you send it to .com I won't get it. It is as simple as that. To help me organize the emails I receive please have the title of the email like this: Mobile Weapon Name(If you have a mobile weapon) - Action - Date

Simple Actions:

Here is a list of all the simple actions. There usually will be more you can do in a simple action but that will be explained.

Movement: This is where you tell me where you want to move to. Like say you are on the moon and what do go to Earth so you just say "I would like to move to Earth please."

Movement is measured in days. As in how many days it will take you to get there. The lowest amount of travel time you can do is 1 day. Unless for some reason I move you some where instantly but that is only under my control. With a ship or something you can shorten travel time. Also to move from the Earth's Surface to space it will take one day and you will have to move to a base with a spaceport unless you have a ship or something else that can reach space on its own. This is because it takes alot of thrust to reach space.

Battle: This is where you attack something or are attacked. It will be writen by a battle writer and then posted in either the battles page or the Events page. Usually when someone Role Plays before the battle it usually effects the battle but alot of times people just attack others with out any reason other than they can. Also a person can say whether he wants to kill someone or not. Usually you don't have to say this because usually it just takes common sense like if you are having a battle with someone from the other side you will try to kill them and vice versa the other way.

Purchases: This is where you buy stuff from the shop or other people. You must have the math in your email so I can see that you have the right amount. I will check you math so don't try sneaking something into it. I frown on this but can't do anything more than just not add it to its page. Also you have to have a place to put this purchase. Like for mobile suits you need a ship, installation or a MS Team to put them.

Role Playing: This is where you role play you character on the role playing board. This can earn you better ranks, stuff or your upgrade earlier. Also with Role Playing you can make you character feared or respected by the other side. Sometimes during a major event I will stop at certain points for you to decide on how to handle a certain situation and that will effect a battle.

Battles
:

Here is a list of the different type of battles you can do:
Black Out: This is the simplest of the types of battles you can have. When this action happens the person attacking is left unknown so you will just have to guess who did. The rewards from this battle are low but so is the damage.

Ambush: This is the most common and most basic type of battle. Basically you just jump out and attack someone from the other side. Usually the attacker can expect low damage while the defender can sometimes gain heavy damage. The vp gain for this type of battle is low. Also if you have a weapon that has a long range you can fire it off at the enemy and the target can't do a thing about.

Duel: This battle is when a single person challenges another person to a fight that has a chance for high damage. Also groups of people can face another group of people. This can also be made into a death match. This battle type is the only one that you can have with the same side as you and have the other person as your opponent unless you decide to have a contest out of an event battle. Also if you are ambushing a person that is also ambushing you it will turn into a duel. The damage level in this is usually moderate to high and the vp gain is moderate.

Event: This battle covers any major battle, fleet actions or installation attacks. You will find yourself having trouble in this unless you lay out a battle plan. Usually battle plans aren't needed for the first two types of battles but it is needed here. Also you may want to have more than just yourself in this kind of battle. The potential for damage in this type of battle is high but so is the vp gain.

Optional Armament:

Alot of mobile weapons have alot of weapons and most of these can't be carried so you should choose which weapons you want to take with you into the battle. Unless you want me to choose. Which means you can enter a battle with just ammo drums or clips as your weapons. Also note that the more weapons you carry with you has to be stored somewhere and this also adds weight so you may not want to take alot of weapons in certain battles.

Also some mobile weapons have armor and what not that can be added to the mobile weapon. I won't put that on unless you ask me to. Also there are core fighters in some of the mobile suits and thus if you want you can go into a battle as that. Some mobile suits may also have a mode like say a fighter mode that they can change into. If you want to start out as that in the battle please let me know.

Corporations
:

These are the corporations you can join as. You can only have one and you have to stay in that corporation unless you roleplay differently but remember I will be the final judge of that.

Crystal Electronics: This major corporation is Anahiem Electronics Eventually turned into. There influence can be found everywhere. They are by far the largest and strongest of the corporations but they are least aggressive. They tend to remain neutral in most conflicts. Even though they have been neutral in most of the conflicts their army is rather large making one think that they do more than they say. Also when forced to defend themselves they have been known to fight to the death. Which usually causes the enemy forces to cease their attack and flee under the wave after wave of mobile suits coming their way. This corporation has remained based on the moon. As a member of this group you paid 200,000 credits a week.

Martian Technologies and Research: This corporation is based on Mars. It is a realitively new organization in the Earth sphere. Its influence seems to only expand to orbit. Its technology seems to be of a sort that the other side haven't even thought of. Even though they are a rather small group their borders are guarded very well. This group also seems to be trying to take out the other organizations throw piracy and other such tactics. As a member of this group you will get paid 150,000 credits a week.

Earth Alliance
: At one time this corporation was a branch of Anahiem Electronics but after many years of conflict and discrimination between the two bodies this group left Anahiem. When it did this it formed with most of the groups on Earth that weren't large enough to be a major corporation on their own. With the administrative abilities of Ex  high Anahiem officials the groups formed the Earth Alliance with the Ex-Anahiem Electronics people as the major powers of the alliance it soon became a more unified group. Its military while more outdated than Crystal Corporation has many designs that are easier to produce and thus allows them to have large numbers. As a member of this group you will get paid 150,000 credits a week.

Z.A. Colony Corporation
: This corporation is what left of the Duchy of Zeon, Neo Zeon and Axis. Even though its ancestors where highly aggression and destructive they have lowered their use of weapons of mass destruction. They control the Side 3 colony cluster. Even though most would of viewed this group as tyrants before the great corporations came to power but when they came to power this group came to the rescue of many colonies in the other colony clusters. They then transported them to Side 3 and made the colony cluster even larger. Through the years their tyranical ways have been change to the that of a council and the cluster is ruled by a group of twelve people that have been elected by the people after the death of a previous council member. Their military is made up of suits that have always been used by Side 3. The money maker of this corporation though is medical, food and other such products produced by the hundreds of colonies. As a member of this group you will be paid 150,000 credits a week.

Crossbone Vanguard Mining Corporation
: This corporation is what the Crossbone Vanguard of the past has become known as in the present. It is owned by a royal family who owns the most wealthy gas mines on Jupiter. The Mining Corporation also has a side of mobile suits for sale. For the most part this corporation keeps to the asteroid field and beyond it. The only time it sets foot in the Earth Sphere is either to transport its goods for sale with in the Earth Sphere or to attack. There usually isn't an exception. As a member of this group you will get paid 200,000 credits.

Mercenary Guild
: This group has no central organization but has a central communication network that connects them all together. The main purpose of this group is to provide a generalized organization to prevent form major conflicts between seperate groups that could wipe out the providers of the group and leave people who are dependent on them to starve or become victims of  slavery and what not. This group is made up of the people who don't belong to the major Corporations and who often hire out their services to the corporations or power groups among the mercenary guild. These people can do be doing anything. This includes mining to mobile suit piloting in times of war. One draw back with this side is that you don't get paid anything. You have to do work to earn money such as say attacking an installation or maybe guarded a fleet as it flies from one location to another.

Due to open conflict between Crystal Electronics and the Earth Alliance Earth has been turned into a battle field. Most of the different powers have an installation on Earth and some military forces. Also when you first start off you will be on Earth. From there you can go where ever you heart wishes. But remember that with Earth as an open battleground you may find it easier to get experience but also easier to be hunted down and killed.

Damage, Repairs and Upgrades
:

In this rpg you receive in combat will be measured in days. This is because that is how long it will take you mobile suit to repair. At the end of each day you will have one day taken of the repair time and this means that if you have 1 day left you can't make repairs that day but the next day. Now the max amount damage a mobile suit can receive is 5 days before it is destroyed. Repairs can be reduced if you are in an installation and this is by half but the lowest you can go is 1 day. Now when a mobile suit reaches six days of repairs it becomes destroyed and you have to wait the total six days for the suit to be remade. This can't be lowered.

Now sometimes you will die. All this means is that your pilot is dead and you can't do actions for six days except for send in a name for the replacement pilot. This most be done in the six days of death time or won't be able to do action untill you do to a total of 10 days and then you will be removed.

Now when you gain enough vp you become to good for you mobile weapon like what happens through the gundam series with Amuro and Char. Thus you go out and get you mobile weapon destroyed and it will start upgrading. This will take 8 days. There is no lowering this amount except with the Engineer specialty.

Experience
:

Experience in this rpg will be measured in VP(Veteren Points). The higher the number the better the pilot but also remember the suit will also effect your abilities. Like for example a pilot with 200 vp in a Zaku I will still get easily destroyed by someone with 100vp piloting Neue Ziel.

Fleets:

To make a fleet you have to have 2 or more ships. Then you email me telling me you want to make a fleet. This email must include the fleets name These ships have to be owned by only you as well. This stops fights from happening among people making joint fleets. Which to me is a pointless headache. The reason to make a fleet is that each ship in it will work with the other ship/s in it and make them stronger in a group than they would be alone.

With a fleet you can blockade a colony cluster or a planet which includes the moon. You also can lay a siege on an installation.

Capturing Territory and People:

First off you can only capture a colony cluster or the planets other than Earth for territory and then it becomes open to all the members of your team and you. It will raise the pay of everyone on your team by 100,000 credits. To do this in a colony cluster you must remove all enemy installations and build three colonies with a base in one of the colonies. When this happens all of the forces that are in the colonies will attack anyone attacking an allied installation in the territory. Also if someone builds an installation in the territory it will come under attack and will continue to be attack day after day until it is destroyed or captured. Now to catch a planet you must build three bases on its surface and of course destroy any base that doesn't belong to you. The same rewards apply.

Now with three fleets and a space fortress you can capture the orbit of planet. Also this count's as blockading if you don't own the planet. But if you do own the planet any one who tries to get to the planet's surface has to break through all three fleets and the space fortress. This is difficult because often the forces arrayed against you will be incredible.

Now you can only capture a person when they attack an installation with a cellblock or they surrender. When this happens you can either hold them for a max of 10 days, torture, put up a bounty of your choice of at least 500,000 credits and last but not least you can have the person killed.

Now at anytime the captured pilot can try to escape. This can be risky due to the fact you can be killed in the attempt to get away. But more often than not you will just be recaptured. Now if you allies could stage a distraction your escape attempt might go by easier. Also you can be rescued.

Teams:

A team is a group of three or more PCs that work together. To make a team you need to send me copies of the emails of the people saying they want to join your team or having them email me saying it. Also you must have ranks and things like for the team. Only one person can control the team but the leader can give certian powers to those under him. It is your choice. Also you must have a name for the team. It can be anything but if it is something stupid like the Retarded Chicks of Happiness I will ask you to rename.

For teams you will get paid 1,000,000 credits and you can choose to do with it what ever you please. But that is the only money from me your team will get. You then must get your team members to add money to your team account.

FFA and Tournaments
:

Once every so often I will have a Free For All. This will be hosted by one organization or the other. Also a team can hold a FFA if they want and front the prizes but these FFA will give less VP rewards and probably smaller prizes. When you go to enter a FFA you will receive instant repairs same thing goes if your pilot is dead. Just send a name with your joining email. Also if you are upgrading the rest of your upgrade will be instant as well. Just to warn you that if have the most vp in the rpg doesn't mean you will win the FFA. Also death isn't real in a FFA. The winners will be pretty much at random.

There are two different types of FFA that can be held. A normal FFA which means everyone for themselves or a team FFA where the teams face each other. Also for the Team FFA you can't make a team up the day before and join and then break the team up the day after. You can recuit members to join your team just for the FFA but thats all. The amount of members of a team to be allowed in a Team FFA will be decided before hand by me and then it is just up to you people to choose the people you want to go into the event.

Now tournaments will be held once a year. The tournaments will always have a one versus one, two versus two and a three versus three bracket. And at the end of the tournament there will always be a normal FFA. The 1 vs 1 bracket is for those people who can fight on their own and veterens. Remember that death in a tournament is real. The 2 vs 2 is more open to newbie pilots but VP is still a factor in determining the winner. The 3 vs 3 is the bracket for newbie pilots. Death won't happen as much but it has been known to happen. The prizes in a tournament are top of the line and alot of times you can't get them in any other way.

Inactive:

If you don't do an action for two weeks in a row I will put a warning up on the main page and give you another week to do another action. If you don't I will remove you. And there will be no second chances. If you go on vacation please tell me so I don't remove you.

Scale:

Here is the list of the general values to determine the values you get when you do actions:

Black Out - 3 vp
Ambush: - 5 vp
Duel - 10 vp then + 2 vp for each additional person beyond the orginal pair
Ship Attack - 14 vp
Installation Attack - 18 vp + 100,000 credits for each person if successful
Resource Satellite - 12 vp + 200,000 credits for each person if successful

Specialties
:

Every time someone joins I will role a die and the number I get will decide what speciality you get. Each Specialty will give you a bonus to something or give you the ability to do something special. It may even give you alittle extra cash each week. It will completely random but if there are a few that you don't want to get just tell me. Try not to say too many that you don't want or I will ignore you and just role normally. Each Time your character dies you have the choice to either keep your speciality or change it. And then I will role you a new one. Now here are the specialties.

Diplomat: This specialty gives you the ability to talk your way through situations that others would have troubles getting out of. Also as a diplomate you gain an additional +10% discount to purchases from your corporation.

Engineer: This specialty takes two days off of your upgrading time. Also if you suit becomes destroyed you will have two days taken off the six day repair time as well.

Espionage Expert: This specialty allows you to move around with out people knowing where you are going. Also with each post on a team board you have a chance of getting a few words on the post. The chance of this is very low but it can happen.

Field Technician: This specialty allows you to reduce your repair time by 1 day. This can make your repair time instant. If your mobile suit becomes destroyed this specialty doesn't reduce the six days of repair time.

Ground Combat Expert: With this specialty you become a legend at ground combat. You fight better, move better and even think better while on the surface of a planet. This counts as +10 bonus to vp. It isn't an actual amount but means that you fight better on the ground.

Genius: With this you are smarter and react better to new situations and also you will be able to add programs to your mobile weapon faster than other groups. An example of a program added to a mobile weapon would be a more complex melee attack.

Merchant: With this specialty you gain the ability to sell something. A product that both of us will decide. Since this rpg has corporations you are a valued member of the community. The product that you will sell will give you more money each week if you sell something. If it is a product that your corporation could use they may even buy the product from you. Some items may be more expensive than others but if it expensive means it is more rare and you will sell less of that item. To sell your product to a corporation you must roleplay it with me. You never know if you are a good roleplayer you may sell the product at a higher price to the corporation.

Noble: You belong to a rich family and thus they give you some money each week in addition to amount you normally get each week. The amount is +100,000 credits. This is a nice specialty for those of you who belong to the mercenary guild.

Quick Learner
: This specialty means that you learn things quicker. And also you gain alittle bit more vp than the other people.

Space Combat Expert: This specialty is just like the Gound Combat Expert except for space. The bonuses for this are for space and for everything else see the Ground Combat Expert.

Strategist: With this specialty those under your command will fight better and your chance at succeeding in an attack is better. Also if you are defending against attack you have a chance at predicting the enemy's movement and counter it.

Veteren: This specialty starts you off with 30 vp. This specialty is rare. You will start off knowing your suit also you have seen combat before and it no longer bothers you. Whether it still excites you or not is up to you.

Other:

The joining page will have everything you need to know about joining. So look there. Also if you think I have missed something just let me know and I will add. You may also get a prize for it.
