Background: Veil first caught the attention of the SS while working as a private investigator in Neo Hong Kong. A client requested that he shadow a SAF Commodore taking leave while in Side 6 and report back the findings. After a few days Laredo discovered that the Commodore was head of a smuggling operation. He took his findings back to his client who turned out being a SS Recruiter. After the Commodore was taken into custody the recruiter was impressed by the detail of his notes and his ability to remain unnoticed by the corrupt officer's guard, Veil was given the opportunity to serve as one of Schutzstaffel. Laredo now pilots a MS-06E Reconnaissance Zaku used for advanced recon on the front lines. Laredo Veil was killed during the battle at Purgatorio.
Psyche Profile: Veil is known is completely lose himself in his work. As a PI he has gone days without sleep while working on a case. He's never really had the time to pursue any real interests. The only thing that concerns him are people's dirty little secrets and what else he can unearth. His tenacity is what caught the attention of the SS. Laredo Veil doesn't let anything get in his way when he he has his sights set on something which has on many occasions damaged alot of his personal and professional relationships.

Side Notes: Veil has a quite friendly demeanor but tends to make people on edge by asking far too many probing questions. It's tough to say whether this is deliberate or Veil is just socially awkward. Either way, he is one of the last people people you want questioning you.
He also carries a tiny camera he carries around his neck in case he ever finds anything "of interest."
