As for the MS teams issue, it would be an easy thing to implement rules wise. What I'd like to see are arguments for / against the idea that involve some actual consideration and not just qualms of "it's not fair."

It'd make definite sense, since aircraft are supposed to be much more numerous and much less effective than MS. Fighters would be in wings of 6-8 opposed to MS teams of 3-4.

Typical MS load out according to 08th MS Team was 3x MS 1x vehicle. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlatoonAt the numbers they give for a platoon it would mean that 2 infantry units would be a small platoon and 4 would be a large platoon. If someone going all infantry was given 2x slots they'd be able to form a small company which is what's typically tasked a mission that would seem right for a PC. The infantry platoons are typically the large ones too. I don't recall exactly, but if I think there were 8 Type 61s sent to combat the Zaku's in MS Igloo 2. It could have been 7. For the fly boys this would let them build a proper flight. Not enough for a squadron unless they made a very small one, but they could be a good sized flight. The problem comes down to rank not meeting the position a player would most likely choose for themselves in this. For that I suggest relying on the player being forced into filling a slot because there is no one more qualified to take the position. This happens a lot in conflicts with serious casualties and as a low tech unit you will have plenty of those.

As for SAF mobile suits Frenzy, I agree that the SAF are a little jipped, and the history of previous runs has definitely shown that. What I'd like to see is suggestions on what the changes should be. Well, since at this stage in the war, perhaps the Dom Bein Nichts (I'd provide a MAHQ link, but the mecha section seems to have been hacked as of the time of this post) or an early Rick Dom II, similar to how the SS is getting the Zaku Kai earlier might make for a good officers suit. I'd post more ideas, but until MAHQ becomes available agaub, I can't really suggest all that much.

If you mean the current one we're operating under, I guess so.
Like I said, I might have more ideas, MS-wise once MAHQ's mecha section becomes available again.

You know changing the shop 3 stuff wouldn't really affect activity with SAF because the officer spot should be taken already, and it's not as if TAF, MAF and SS get new officer suits in shop 3, it's just the SAF loses theirs because it becomes joinable to non-officers.

I would like it if there were a way that newbs (like me) have a chance to catch up with peoples in vp. No clue on how to do this fairly though. People who have killed people, taken bases, etc deserve their experience.
The only idea I have is to increase the range of vp one can potentially acquire. So for example if a newb lucky shot kills Amuro Rei they get increased experience for the event or something. Or if a newb defeats a much more experienced enemy in combat. Normally the maximum someone gets from the event is X. But a newb's maximum could be 2X or X+5 or something. This bonus would only be obtainable by doing something suitably awesome.
I would like if MS team slots could equip 2 vehicles/infantry as well. It seems a waste to put an aircraft in the slot when you could get an MS in there. Having 2 aircraft would at least make for an interesting decision between that and a Zaku.

Personally (for an SS only unit) I would suggest two units for both an MA or MS choice(s).
For MS I would suggest something along the lines of Galbady Alpha or Kampfer. Imo those are real officer only units and be quite expensive to purchase (500 RP for either?) I would also opt for Zaku II Propellant Tank Type (although technically its a test unit) and MS-09F/Gb Dom Gross Beil (another G-Gen Unit) thats quite melee focused. As for Test MS I would also like to opt for the Zaku Atmospheric Test Type (that appeared in MSV90) the Gouf Hunter (from Fukuichi Mobile Suit Station) also comes to mind as an SS only unit.
As for MA I would like to suggest the Bigro Meir or Buran, however its kinda early game so you could skip out on those if u see fit.
As for the issue with max platoon size, I also opt for a 4 max slots: 3 MS and 1 Vehicle slot

But there was only one of those according to the blurb. There were 30 of the command type and by name is fitting for the officers.
