I'm bored tonight, so I'm surveying people.
Tell me what you think of the game so far, and if there is anything you think should be changed rules or mechanics wise.

You should just make a permanent opinion box; I can never remember the important things after the fact.
I'm having a great time for the most part, but I'm a bit bothered by the fact you can just quit your character and start a new one for a different faction with all the VP you gained on your first pilot. I think switching characters should be like death with the VP/CP reduction.

Larger MS team for us tank/aircraft people. (Like 5-6 instead of 3)
As it stands I can't take on any Zeon air patrols because they have 7 aircraft including a detector while the most aircraft I can field is 4. Add in the fact that Dopps are already that much better than Tin Cods and it's pretty hopeless.
It just seems unfair that patrol MS teams are always capped at 4 so PC's can field the same amount of MS but the tank/aircraft patrols are typically larger than the size of the allowed MS team taking out some of the only targets us non-MS people could actually hit by ourselves.

I have to agree with Latooni on that one. Right now the only real disadvantage is the possible loss of RP.
I think the SS limit is one or two people too high as well. They strike me as something that should be rare, but right now there are as many SS as there are EF officers until Latooni becomes a proper officer.
I'd also like to see more variety for Earth bound Rogues. Most of the items in the Rogue shop are geared towards doing the merchant thing in space and quite a few need an alliance with the Riah Republic which is very difficult from Earth. One idea is the ability to buy infantry units with comparable CP values to marines if you or a team you belong to owns a compound. The compound would represent a base of operations needed to properly train your troops.

I actually agree with what Feyd said. Aircraft and tanks are at a disadvantage in that aspect. But if you were to increase their unit cap it should be limited to support things such as other aircraft or tanks.
As far as the vp/cp for someone switching characters. Why should that person lose what they put into the game just because they made a new character? They're already giving up the old character and any rp they had.

Because those people who stick to their guns should have some advantages over people who switch back and forth because they're not enjoying their choice. They should be allowed to transfer, but just like you won't be as great if you join late, you should be given a bigger disadvantage than losing RP; since you don't even lose your rank, you don't lose that much RP anyway. Clearly losing their character isn't a huge deal if they want to ditch it anyway.

Your reason for switching was that "You weren't having fun." What's to stop you from saying "Hm, this wasn't the right choice either, I want to be rogue?"

I'd be interested in seeing the SAF get their own unit exclusive under the officer's korps listing. TAF has the Dowadage, the MAF gets the Dom S, and the SS gets the Zaku Sniper, but the SAF has no unit that's exclusive to it. Maybe it's just me, but it always seems like the SAF gets the short end of the stick when it comes to getting interesting units, despite being ostensibly Zeon's main fighting force in space.
Other than that, perhaps letting a Zeon space fleet haul some Zakus or Gattles around in a manner to how the EFSF's fleets do with the Balls. I mean, Sodons still likely exist in Zeon service.

Because you get most of the benefits of death - A new NT roll and the chance to switch divisions - but far fewer penalties, even though it's voluntary.

Lets stay away from the Daren switching sides QQ.
Fact is there are no rules for changing your character, and there never will be, because I want to handle it in a case by case basis.
The MS Team issue is much more interesting to me, and I'd like to see some serious arguments on why it should be different.
As for SAF mobile suits Frenzy, I agree that the SAF are a little jipped, and the history of previous runs has definitely shown that. What I'd like to see is suggestions on what the changes should be.

Maybe treat MS team slots as 2x vehicle/infantry? Kind of like how the Columbus is rigged. That would keep people from filling extra spots with stuff like mobile suits, but not prevent them from purchasing them. And lets be honest, I may love my guerrillas, but 4x guerrillas vs 4x Zaku II Fs is a one sided fight. A curious point would be if you'd have one additional slot if your chosen unit was a vehicle/infantry.
