It's night time. Gildas has told you to wait for him behind the Thieves Den. You see another circle.
For hours you wait back there.. you wonder if he's coming at all.
Suddenly, one of the hooded figures approaches you.
"It's time, Daniel."
You follow Gildas through the residential neighborhoods. You notice, as the taverns fade away, they are replaced with poor housing. Then fine townhouses. Then mansions.
You stop at the end. A small plaque reads "Governor Jackson's House."
"I'll go in and rob the place blind. If you see any one, shoot them with this. If you hear any shots from within, come in and see what's up. The password is Ambrosius. Remember that?"
You spell out Ambrosius in your head. Seems fine enough.
He seems to be awaiting some nod of approval to show you're ready.

Gildas nods and slips towards the house. In a few seconds, even you lose sight of him.
Seems a calm night. You sit in front of the sign.
Time goes by quick. You silently watch a cricket jump.
An hour must have gone by. It's very dark by now.
Suddenly, someone approaches you. They must be 100 meters off, coming down the street.
They're holding something in their hands. A gun?

The man turns and runs.
You could still hit him, with a lucky shot. Or chase, easily.
You hear a woman's scream.

If he keeps running, I give chase to try to tackle him down or knock him out.

He keeps running, not stopping to listen to your well thought out explanation.
You give chase but are unable to catch him. He's just outside of the Royal Palace now. You're out of breath, but had a good run. [+2 Running]
You could try taking another shot at him. He's stopped to catch his breath as well. If not, you might be neckdeep in Her Majesty's Finest soon.

I walk casually over to where the man is catching his breath. I've done nothing wrong, and don't fear a few marines. Plus, this should give Gildas ample time to escape.

He eyes your pistol. Suddenly the bible runner is very quiet.
"I.. I saw you trying to take Angelina for your ship. She's had enough of pirates and thieves, she doesn't need you to wreck her further!"
He's whispering to himself. Clearly he's very upset.
Upon closer listening, you realize they're psalms.
