Brief History Summary:
Gilgamos Uruk was a former Zeon soldier who went MIA during the early portions of the One Year War. Gilgamos, for reasons undetermined at present, developed a mental disability during his time away from the war. While unaffected physically, Gilgamos has trouble accessing his long-term memory at times, similar to a premature form of Alzheimer's.
During his hiatus from service, Gilgamos spent his time developing medical skills, volunteering his days at free health clinics. It was during this time that Gilgamos encountered OC Tony Knight. The two developed a friendship over time, resulting in OC Knight insisting Gilgamos reenlist.
Gilgamos agreed despite the potential court-martial. OC Knight sponsored Gilgamos's return to the TAF. This saved Gilgamos from almost certain jail-time but also indebted him to OC Knight, his first position directly under the newly commissioned officer testing experimental Zeon technology. Gilgamos was informed by his enlister this was to be a suicidal position. If the technology he tested did not kill him, his brash commanding officer would.
Personality Review:
Gilgamos Uruk has earned himself the nickname of Dr Watson amongst his small circle of friends, a playful jab at his brief medical background, style of dress, and tendency to be silent in a crowd yet longwinded when asked his opinion.
Gilgamos has a fascination with the late 1800s, referring to the era as the end of true civility in mankind. Among Gilgamos few personal possessions (all stored within a briefcase) are various trinkets he has collected from this era.
