One of the great things about being staff for this game, is getting to do stuff that makes the players happy. Big events, designing upgrades they want, and in general trying to promote an environment where everybody can enjoy themselves.

The downside of this though is when we screw up, it tends to be on a big scale. In this case Ravage was the victim of this screw up. Basically Ravage was told that he got to pick a ship instead of just the cash prize. It turns out he didn’t, and when he was upset about this he got pilloried.

Ravage, I apologize for what happened. I apologize that we even insinuated you were trying to weasel something you shouldn’t have, let alone flat out stated so.

I hope this sets the record straight though, and I hope that you will continue to play and contribute to this game as you have.
