06.21everybody get up
Just an update to let you know where we’re at. Vlad is busily chugging away on profiles– the bottleneck here is making lots of black and white lineart for MS as it’s a slightly tedious prospect. After that, all that is to be done is to mod the shop somewhat and integration of MS buying into bases.
Speaking of which, there’ve been some edits to the shop over the past few days, mostly in the bases section (terrain modifiers are now listed). I do plan to have the ‘common base defenses’ post from the forums converted into page form for your convenience, I just need to hash out RU costs. Likewise mines are being reworked somewhat as I was never satisfied with their implementation in FI.
I am considering changing genotypes a bit so that they work a bit like elite units from the past RPG– you hire one, but they come with their own MS and level (selected semi-randomly from a small pool of appropriate units), or potentially, removing them. Historically such genotypes are rare, after all ;p
