Shadow Magic Spells
Level 1 Combat Spells
Shroud: This basic spell creates a blanket of magical darkness much akin to the "Globe of Darkness" cast  by Dark Elves.
Benefit: +10 to defense value.

Shadow Sight:
This spell allows them to see through the magical darkness they create.
Benefit: Cancels blindness, enemy skill "
Globe of Darkness" and enemy spell "Shroud."

Level 1 Non-Combat Spells
Shadow Warp:
This simple spell allows the caster to pull the shadows about himself to shield his being from view.
Benefit: Travelling destination is unknown to all but the player.

Level 2 Combat Spells

Shadow Talons: This is the last line of defense for any Shadow user. It causes talons of pure shadow to extend from the casters fingertips. These claws can rend through armor, block blades, and tear flesh as easily as any weapon.
Benefit: +15 to attack value, +8 to defense value.
Shadow Ribbons: This spell causes thin ribbons of shadow the leap from the casters hands and strike an opponent. They hit with the force of an average punch so the damage is more superficial than anything.
Benefit: +10 to attack value.
Murk: This spell causes the shadows to grow thicker and they seem to take on substance. Anything caught within these shadows find their movements extremely slow and must struggle to break free. The shadows do not harm however, only hamper.
Benefit: -8 to enemy's defense value.
Shadow Shield: This spell causes the shadows to embrace and solidify around the caster forming a light shield against spells and physical strikes. It can be beaten down over time.
Benefit: +12 to defense value.
Shadow Lash: This causes the shadows near the target to reach out and lash at them like whips. The wounds caused are much like whips so it is very useful for breaking another’s concentration.
Benefit: +10 to attack value, chance of cancelling one enemy spell.

Level 3 Combat Spells
Shadow Bolt: This spell unleashes a bolt of pure shadow energy that hits like a sledge hammer, and will often toss the target through the air.
Benefit: +30 to attack value.

Shadow Play:
This spell causes the shadows to move about as if alive. They do not have any physical substance yet, but seeing ones own shadow take on life can be quite unnerving.
Benefit: - 15 to enemy's attack value, -15 to enemy's defense value.

Shadow Tendrils:
From the casters finger tips come tendrils of shadow that are quite real. These things of tangible darkness can wrap about and constrict the life from an enemy.
Benefit: +20 to attack value.

Mirror of Shadows:
This spell creates a disk of shadow that seems to gleam like polished obsidian. The next few spells sent the caster's way are reflected back at the opponent.
Benefit: Reverses effects of enemy's spells upon the enemy caster instead.

Level 3 Non-Combat Spells
Shadow Net:
This spell is a refined version of the "Shadow Tendrils". It creates a net that can be cast upon one person then forgotten. It will tighten about the person and hold them fast. However if they continue to struggle then it will continue to tighten until the life is crushed from them.
Benefit: Adds one day's healing to target. Target cannot act for one day.

Level 4 Combat Spells
Wave of Shadow:
This spell unleashes an arc of shadows that will easily break bones as it tosses any caught in its path about like a doll.
Benefit: +45 to attack value.
Silhouette: This gives life to a persons shadow as well as tangible form. The shadow can strike and hold as the caster commands. Having to battle ones own shadow is often more than most can bare.
Benefit: +35 to attack value. -10 to enemy's defense value.
Wall of Shadows: This wall is 7 feet high and 30 feet long. It is made of pure shadow and any who try to pass through it find their movements extremely slow. If they do not break free in time there is a good chance they will be smothered before the spell expires.
Benefit: +30 to defense value.
Body of Shadow: This spell allows the caster to become partly of the shadow world. Their movements are more fluid, and they can move about from shadow to shadow with near effortless ease. Non-enchanted physical weapons do less damage and their bodies can twist in ways that are other wise impossible. The spell does not last long but it is supposed to be horrid to see. The persons body is said to look like it is covered in dark sores that emit thin wisp of shadow.
Benefit: +40 to defense value against non-enchanted weapon attacks.

Level 4 Role-Playing Spells
Shadow Mastery: This is not so much a spell as it is a skill. This simply means that after using the shadows for so long the caster’s imagination is the limit. They can twist and craft the shadows as they see fit with shear willpower alone. No spell is needed for anything new they wish to create in the world of shadows.
