the night was clear, but fox didnt know why it was raining. it had been raining all day now but it seemd like night the whole time in the forest. The trees were about as high as the eye could see, although they were good cover, only a few drips of water through the whole place. So he didnt really have to worry about his suit malfunctioning in the water at all. "why am i even here..."

a bolt of lightning struck and it lit the whole forest. made a tree a few hundred yards away from him catch fire, seemed like giant torch. Fox checked his moniters only to see nothing. "im so bored" he was about to fall asleep when he soon got a chill down his spine quickly awoke him. "its been an hour, i fell asleep for an hour what felt like a few seconds! and still nothing"  he checked his moniters again, but they were completly black, he clicked his moniters off then on to see if they turned off for some reason, but they were on. it must have been the trees, they were blocking all moonlight, you couldnt see anything,he turned his giant blue gouf around, he saw the burning tree, still on fire.

he turned back around and saw darkness again. he couldnt even see some light from the tree. "wait a second...." blip, Fox saw something come up on his radar. but it vanished, there for a mere fraction of a second and gone. Fox looked back at his front moniter, but not only to see nothing, but looked like a cloud, a cloud looking figure at least a few hundred feet away. he didnt move, he kept looking at his front screen, the object didnt seem to move, but if it was a cloud, it wouldnt move very fast now would it.

Another bolt of lightning flashed. And this time there wasnt just nothing, there was a giant green mechanical eye, an eye of a gundam. it took up the entire screen, apparently , he didnt see the gouf as much as the gouf saw it. The eye quickly jumped back noticing its mistake. and Fox saw that it was the neo gundam. another bolt of lightning passed and by that time the neo gundam wasnt anywhere to be seen
Fox retrieved his flair launcher and shot a round into the air. it was just as bright as the lightning. The gouf turned in all directions and didnt see a single thing.

"hmm... good thing i got a lock on him with my radar, i cant see thing in this forest!" aidyn told himself. he saw the light flash but didnt move from behind his cover, (a tree of course). he saw the gouf moving on the radar but since the gouf was dark blue, he couldnt see it, probably couldnt see it if it was neon color this place. the gouf was walking in the opposite direction. "perfect.." Aidyn took out his dual beamswords an charged straight at the gouf with full speed and beam swords ready for action.

bleepbleepbleepbleepbleep "SHIT" gouf turned around and saw the neo gundam running straight at him with 2 beamsbers ignited. Gouf quickly bent down on one knee and brought up his shield, he blocked the left attack but got stabbed right through the shoulder with the other. The gouf counter attacked with his sword and cut  one of the neo's beamsabers out of hand. neo fired his beam vulcans and destroyed the goufs shield. along with a limp arm, it was rittled with holes and was charred. "YOULL PAY FOR THAT!" Gouf grabbed hold of his flair launcher and shot neo right in the chest with  a powerful round.

"GAHH" aidyn yelled, his left screen cracked and unusable. the neo flew backward onto his back, the wholefront of his suit charred, and his left arm malfunctioning. neo flew up in the air, into the darkness and stood on a high branch where he was camoflauged. "damn it" fox said. " im goin to have totake a lucky shot". blip. "THERE!" he threw down his flair gun and took out his 3 barrel 35mm machinegun and fired like a mad man up at the tree. he shot the branch and the neo gundam fell off and onto the ground. the neo busted a vital circut to his knee and wasnt able to get up. the gouf saw where he landed but could barley see him. he walked slowley through the darkness towards the neo. but when he got there, when the neo was in sight, he had his G-BRD beam rifle out and aimed dirctly at his cockpit. "game over"
right before the neo gundam shot, the tree that was on fire fell over and knocked gouf on the groud, but before he hit the ground, aidyn shot the rifle and destroyed the shoulder of the gouf "pity they let you in the military"  as aidyn said his last words, he tried to fix his knee so he leave this place, and and have some more fun.....

Encounter

Rain poured down on the tired, worn down city of Chicago, Illinois. People
looked up at the rain like some kind of kick to the ribs, the blow to the
fallen. The inhabitants had already been taken over by the Zeon once, and
could never fully recover from the invasion. They were low on morale, high on
frustration. The mere mention of a mobile suit would anger a Chicago citizen.
What happened on this rainy, sullen day, was unforgivable.

The Wing stood in Lake Michigan, the rain pouring off curvy frame. It's head
was bowed, as if in mourning, and it held it's Buster Rifle in it's right
hand. There was no light this day, but the Wings core still reflected some,
as a mirror mirroring something that is not there. Wing was perfectly
repaired, the paint carefully re-applied by EF mechanics. It's wings had
barely a mark from the flighty over to where it stood now. The suit looked
perfect, something out of a comic-book. It looked valiant, flashy, a light in
the dark of the day. Unlike everything else, it did not fall into the sad,
gray look that everything else did because of the rain. It stood, defiantly
gleaming against the elements.

Joe sat in the Wing's warm, moist cockpit, his hands gripping the controls,
waiting. Sweat had barely foremed at his forehead. He was beginning to adapt
to the Wing's controls and ways, after his numerous battles. He wore the
pants from an EF jumpsuit, but his top was a long sleeved green shirt. He
looked tired. Althought the Wing seemed unaffected by the rain, Joe was not.

"Where is he..." Joe thought, fatigue wearing down his thoughts. "Should be
here by now..." Joe closed his eyes and put his forehead in his hand, rubbed
it, then looked back up. Still nothing. "Hmph. Rogues. Never on time." Joe
looked to his side, a small, neatly bound stack of papers there, a large
Earth Federation insignia stamped on the uppermost paper. Joe looked
mournfully down. He heard a sound, and, although he hated war, a smile came
to his face. He looked up, staring at the awe-inspiring Physallis looming
high ahead.

In stark contrast to the Wing, the Physallis looked much more like a herald
of the gloom of the rain then a fighter against it. It's gray paint scheme
seemed to make everything brighter, and it was rugged in paint and
cleanliness. The outputs of its' verniers were scorched black, and it's
shield had slash and welding marks on it. The Physallis thrusters made a
great rolling roar, the blue fire much greater in mass then the Wings.
Suddenly, the thrusters turned off and rolled into normal position, and the
Physallis plummeted down.

It landed in the lake with a great crash, the water pushing out then
converging back in upon the mighty suit. A large splash hit Wing, but it was
not moved. The waves calmed, and the Physallis stood upright. The two suits
stared at eachother, rain pouring between them.

Alex, in contrast to his suit, was neatly dressed and clean. His cockpit was
cold and rugged. "I'm here. Any bets?"

Joe smirked. "Let's get on with it."

The two green sets of eyes glared into eachother, looking almost as if they
were instilling life into eachother. Physallis grabbed the handle of it's
bazooka. Wing raised it's rifle.

In two great roars, the combatants were off. Physallis charged up as a
massive buster rifle beam passed through it's former place, the water once
again moving in large, violent waves. The Physallis roared on, pointing it's
massive bazooka and firing, hordes of small warheads falling out. They
plunged down, then cracked open, another rainof smaller missles falling down.
Wing raised its shield, the missles making small black dents in its' shiny
red surface. The others crashed into the water, small explosions occuring on
the surface of the great gray waves. Physallis charged back then down,
hitting somebuttons on its' bazooka as it did. Finally, Wing took flight,
charging after the great fleeing form.

Physallis lowered it's head, and once again, its' bazooka fired. This time,
it was  3 huge missiles that exited the silo. Joe was caught off guard, but
not completly. Wing raised it's shield as a warhead plowed into it, stopping
the movement of Wing and shattering the shield. The lower part plopped into
the water, smaller fragments shaking and falling off as well. The other 2
warheads plowed into the ground, great explosions pushing the water up in
great pillars. Wing was drenched. Alex smiled.

Physallis, it's foe on the ropes, retracted its bazooka, taking one part and
hastily putting it in it's massive shield. It charged forward, drawing a beam
saber from its hip. The water was still fluctuating as the Physallis blindly
charged towards it. Alex knew what he was doing was foolish, but still had
that feeling that his enemy was bewildered. He should of listened to his gut.

A huge, golden beam passed out from the waves. Alex cursed under his breath,
and, without further thought, place his great shield up in front of him. The
golden beam enveloped the massive suit, the shield protecting most of the
core body. Soon, Alex was lost in a golden pillar, the only fair light of the
day.

The beam stopped, and the Physallis plowed into the water. It's shield was
charred badly, most of the armor flaking off. A little of Physallis' right
thruster was knicked, but not badly, and instead it was simply black from the
beam. The water washed over the huge suit, coolingit down. Alex cursed again.
The Physallis was down, but not out.

The Wing held it's buster rifle, and Joe thought. "Only one shot left...no
where to store it..." He then looked at his singed shield. "Couldn't last
long without a shield..." Joe began to sweat. "One shot...or else this is
going to get messy..." The Wing looked as the Physallis slowly rose, water
pouring off it. "His damn shield...may even survive another
blast...damnit...gonna have to risk it..." The Wings wings flared out, and
the Wing charged into the sky. Physallis re-lit its beam saber and followed.

The Wing ducked down then charged at the Physallis, ramming it's shattered
shield. The Physallis easily parried this, cutting the small shield even
smaller. Wing charged back the forward, flailing another punch with its
shield. Again, parried, another chunk of it falling to the water. "Not
working, damnit!" Joe though. Wing charged up, then down, kicking at the
Physallis, but, once again, Alex was ready, and, with a vicious slash, Wings
foot was singing and tingling with electricity.

Joe cursed to himself. "I can't hit him...going to have to rely on my speed
to get a good shot!"

Wing ducked under the Physallis and behind it. Wing pointed it's buster
rifle, but with a great roar, Physallis swung around, decking the Wing with
it's black shield. The Wing staggered, then flew up and behind again, but the
Physallis moved down and turned, stabbing with it's saber, but missing. The
Wing swung around the Physallis, then charged up, the rain weaving like a
curtain. Suddenly, a explosion occured on Physallis charred thruster. "DAMN!"
Alex thought, and Physallis did not turn. Joe pointed the rifle, his teeth
gritted. Nothing could stop him now. "Good try, rogue." The rifle gleamed.

Suddenly, like sent from the heavens, a shell was fired. It tore through the
rain like a hot rock, and quickly approached the Wing. In a clash then an
explosion, it hit the Buster Rifle. The rifle doubled in two then fell,
exploding as it did. Wings hand twitched. "NO! HOW-" Wing turned around. Like
the old saying goes, keep your friends close and your enemys closer. The Zeon
member Doran Clough was closeby, piloting his gleaming white Tallgeese.

Wing and Physallis glared at the Zeon soldier. Joe was furious, Alex baffled.
The rain fell harder, the sky was darker. The Tallgeese hovered high, it's
dober gun smoking. "As a reminder..." Doran Clough smirked. "Zeon has not
forgotten you, Joseph." Thunder clashed, far off.

The Tallgeeses verneirs roared open, a great jet of blue flame coming from
them. Wing quickly drew a beam saber from its almost non-existant shield.
Alex smirked, and his suit slowly descended to the lake. Tallgeeses dober gun
fired, a great puff of smoke emitting from it. The red hot burst of flames
sped towards the Wing, but was easily dodged. Tallgeese zoomed up, firing
twice more, both shots plummeting into the lake below. Wings thrusters threw
it up, charging at its sudden enemy. The Tallgeese, faster then both the
Physallis and the Wing, charged right, firing again. This time, a shell
plowed into the back of the Wing, smoke billowing from the entrance wound.
Tallgeese thrusted below the Wing, firing again. Once again, misses. Joe
frantically tried to maneuver his suit away from the shells. Alex smirked.

Alex gazed up at the two sparkling combatants, their sleekly designed
weaponry going off at blinding speeds. He watched the Tallgeese zoom up,
firing it's Dober gun then ejecting it, grabbing a pink beam saber. The two
fighters collided once again, a great purple-green shockwave filling the sky.
"Well..." Alex said with a smile. "I think I'll let the two little war-dogs
have their game..." The Physallis' massive veriniers flared up. "Til next
time..." He said in a cold, malicious voice, pleased with the outcome of the
fight. In a blinding blue light and a rapture of the water, he was gone.

Joe watched the Physallis leave the battle. "Damnit!" The suit was hit
simoultaneously by a slashing Tallgeese, the suit staggering in the sky.
"Damn you!" The Wing rushed forward, stabbing, catching the inside of the
Tallgeese's shield. The Tallgeese rose it's grappled arm then stabbed
violently, catching the right shoulder of the Wing. The shoulder buckled and
singed, pieces of metal falling off with the sparks. The cockpit of the Wing
shook, Joe thrashing around in its seat. The Tallgeese withdrew the saber,
pulling it high above it's head then slashing back down. The slash tore
across the core of the Wing, the green gem shattering and melting. The Wing
doubled over, falling towards the sorrowful sea. Joe stared up, the Tallgeese
gleaming in the gray skys. Then, with a crash, Wing plunged into the lake.

The Wing fell down, water filling its wounds. Joe shook violently as he fell,
but soon fell to an easy glide. The Wing slowly fell, until it hit the soft,
muddy ground. Dirt and mud flew up with the collision, the few fish in the
area hastily swimming away. Mud seeped onto the suit, the burning damages
cooling off with a layer of mud. The Wing lay it's head back, mud rolling on
to it. Joe began to think. He did not have long.

Suddenly, the Tallgeese burst into the calming waters, the mud being blown
off the Wing by pure force. The Tallgeese grabbed at the injured Wing,
snagging it under it's armpits. The Tallgeese, straining under the weight,
charged up wildly, carrying the mud strewn Wing.

The two rushed up into the stormy sky, now turning to evening. Tallgeeses'
arms were tingling; there was too much wait on it's frame. The rain rammed
onto the beaten Wing. Joe felt a stream of water hit his forearm. Suddenly,
with a jolt, Tallgeese stopped. It sat there, holding the muddy, smoldering
Wing. Tallgeese stared. Joe was confused.

"Why me, why now?" He said in bafflement. Rain poured down.

For a second, no answer. The Tallgeeses verniers were overloading.

"This guys got it in for me..." Joe thought. "Hes going through a lot to do
this..."

Suddenly, the Tallgeese was rejuvenated. With malicious force it raised the
Wing up.

"One better..." Doran said, his voice cold, calm, but shaky. Suddenly, his
voice changed; now it was loose, almost insane. "WHY NOT!?"

Joes eyes widened.

Suddenly the Tallgeese thrust up, hanging onto the limp Wing desperatly. The
verniers on it's back were straining ever more, they looked as if they were
about to burst. Joe tried to do something, but couldn't; his suit was dead.
The Tallgeese roared up at a steady pace. Suddenly, it stopped, and with a
great turn, faced Wing to the lake. The verniers were re-lit. They were
heading straight for the lake.

The rain poured down now, as if trying to speed their descent. Joe
frantically tried to make his suit thrust away, but it was no use. In a last
throw of desperation, he screamed:

"WHATS WRONG WITH YOU!?"

Suddenly, the Tallgeese veered around upright, and the two crashed into the
lake violently, but on their feet. The Wing staggered, it's injured foot
crushed, but managed to fall and kneel. The Tallgeese tumbled on its back,
it's verniers barely surviving the fall. The rain let up, and for a brief
moment, there was peace.

Joe stared at the Tallgeese, who was slowly rising now. It rose and glared at
the Wing, but not in anger. Joe was surprised he lived. Suddenly, a sound
caught his ears. He looked to his right, at his speakers. He had the sound
turned down. He turned it up.

"Forgivemefather, forgivemefamily, Ididntmeanto, Ididntmeanto..."

Joes face distorted in horrow, his hand still on the dial. The words were
muttered fast, barely comprehensible. Suddenly, the voice changed, now
frantic, yet still fast and mashed together.

"For father and country for family and flag for father and country for family
and flag for father and country for family and flag...."

Joe felt a cold wave pass through his body. He looked out at the Tallgeese,
the rain pouring over it. Suddenly, the talking stopped. Doran's voice
quavered and spoke again.

"I don't know..."

With a roar, the Tallgeese left. The Wing slowly, barely stood up to watch.
The rain poured on unforgivably. The Wings once graceful, defiant form was
defeated by the evil of the day, and no longer seemed to oppose it. The rain
was a harsh judge.

Wing: Victory, 3 days repair (+1, thus 4 days)
Physallis: Ran Away (Defeat), 2 days repair (+1, thus 3 days)
