Personality: He’s that staff manager or boss that everyone despises because he thinks he knows everything but the worst part is, he pretty much does. His arrogance makes him a very confident person, more so by his string of successes. Having his actions vindicated by success is Wu’s major achievement in life. That being said, he can be quite reasonable at times if he is in the mood.

History: Wu Jinyuan was born on Side 3 just a few years before the Earth Federation stopped its space colonization program. He reached adulthood with a degree in economics and much to everyone’s surprise he enlisted at the military academy at Zum City. Four years, later he emerged a 2nd Lieutenant in the colony’s armed forces
After the minimal three year service however, Jinyuan withdrew from military life and returned for the civilian world. Only at this point did people realize why Jinyuan went to the military in the first place: to find clients. Possessing an insider’s list of officials and the material they would need, Jinyuan forced his way in to the armament industry.
A few years later, while still eclipsed by large name corporations such as the Zimmad Company and the Zeonic Company, Jinyuan’s network has a strong grip on supplying the raw minerals vital to warfare. Everything from sidearms ammunition to rockets to even ration packets found their way through Jinyuan’s enterprises.
But in 0077, Jinyuan made his first big mistake. Being the bold individual he was, Jinyuan has taken his arrogance one step too far: he messed with the Zabi family. During a state dinner celebrating the trial production run of the Zaku IIC, Jinyuan was bantering with Kycilia Zabi. Jinyuan found her remarkably emotionless, the daughter of the Zabi family frustrated all of Jinyuan’s verbal attempts to provoke a reaction.
Then he grabs her butt.
The proceeding legal trial and hearing of the sexual harassment suit went unnoticed due to the massive rearming of the Earth Sphere occupying everyone’s attention. In the end, Jinyuan was sentenced to permanent house arrest.
So, Jinyuan sat at home for most of a year while running his businesses in his home office. He was surprised and rather very entertained and intrigued when an MAF ship captain named Captain Jeanne Schwert visits him.
Jinyuan was more shocked than anything when that particular officer presents to him an ultimatum: Be reactivated into the Mobile Assault Force and assist the Zabi family in winning the war OR have all of his assets confiscated by the Zabi family. This Captain Schwert will be his handler.
There really wasn’t much of a choice, as much as Jinyuan was reluctant about returning to military life, he took the chance. At least he stands of chancing of getting everything back when the war is over. It didn’t hurt that his handler or controller is a dark-haired, wide hips woman of French/German descent.
