Another thing about the Atlantic is pretty much repeating what Gap said, if we have the base in the Atlantic it offers a bridge between North America and Africa, allowing us to easily move forces back and forth for when the missions in North America come.

Really, really good point. White Base isn't gonna jump onto itself.

we can't jump back and forth if we're stuck holed up in it defending it like we're stuck doing in Manila. Manila is draining side RP... we can kinda make up for that with personal RP...
Trailblazer will be all PC RP, and if we're feeding it to the base in the Atlantic to struggle to hold a strategic point, then we're wasting our own RP and lack ability to front an offensive in doing so.

I just stopped and considered something: we can't purchase ships in Contested Territory. Meaning we can't all hole up in Manila. So that basically wipes out my plan for East Asia in one fell swoop.
Or apparently not. I guess you can buy stuff at friendly bases? I fucking hate this game.
Edit: lol'd ~Ket

The only people capable of threatening this base early into its inception are the forces in East Asia. The start-up cost of the operation (purchases made over two weeks) is covered (as of right now) by the current RP of the PCs involved. Unless Jojo suddenly buys three Hillcocks next week or the East Asia Feds decide to bail on that situation or something silly, the other 1000 RP or so is flexible to be used between base defense or the construction of another ship. Past that point, it's hard to say, but I foresee PCs being more important to the defense of the base than RP.

What is to keep the East Asia force from packing up and running to take you on? Do what you want, Joseph and I are working out details for our side of the world.

The beauty of the plan is that if East Asia packs up to attack us, we still win, as they'll leave East Asia open to attack.

Sounds good Chris. Thanks for figurin' all that out. Have fun being a taxi!
