Hello everyone!
As this week comes to a close, it's that time again - TIME TO ROCK OUT! Missions still haven't been released or assigned or whatnot yet, but I thought it could be worthwhile for posting some preliminary ideas for what we would like to do next week in the RPG here - once we decide we can split off into separate, more detailed threads. Eh, who am I kidding, I think we all know the drill! Let us begin.
I realize we're a little beat up right now, but the Federation is in moderately worse shape than us. Therefore, I would like to see us be very aggressive in laying groundwork for future operations next week - to that end.
Currently, Draco, Zero, and I are heading to RF-4 to take it back on Monday. I don't believe it will be that much of a problem, he doesn't really have too many defenses there for it. Mostly I just want us to get some VP, since it seems we (Zero and I mostly) are lagging behind from the lack of action. Afterwards, I have something in mind that I'm looking at as kind of a pet project that could have very big implications for the ground campaign. It's called Operation: Trailblazer, and I posted a short write-up on it on the board. I would very much appreciate it if you guys would look over it and give it some feedback.
So, North Africa appears it will be quiet for the most part this week - how are you guys doing in East Asia? Manila should receive some reinforcements from side RP this weekend...Kale, Chris (even though you are destroyed! sadface) do you guys think you can hold out with Tian, Dan, and possibly Ryocha or Andrew coming your way?

Yes, I am going to see what we can do about organizing our money together and purchasing a Gaw, which I will either put in Joseph, or Tian's name... I will grab another Jukon at a future point.

Does Marina absolutely have to captain a submarine? Could she be just as effective with a Gaw?

Since it's just Dan and I at Manila right now (at least when it comes to operational units), would it be better if we bunkered down on Monday?
I thought ryocha and Andrew were moving here to join us?

NP, you may want to double check the RP numbers but they should be accurate.
I would suggest chilling out in Manila for the moment, at least until Andrew (and possibly someone else) can start heading to East Asia to reinforce you guys. I don't think you'll have to deal with any significant activity until Tuesday or Wednesday though, right now they would have to purchase another ship or move the lvl3 Hillcock back to East Asia to reform a fleet to siege you all.
Edit - Ryocha ambushed someone on Thursday and Andrew sent his e-mail too late, so it didn't go through. I think he's still planning on coming there on Monday, but he won't get there until next Wednesday or Thursday.
Edit 2 - Forgot to add Test Pilots. Working on that now.
Edit 3 - Okay, that should be all of it.

Ouch. Didn't know things were that bad. I could have moved to East Asia last go too, but went to South Africa instead.
I can give you my 200 rp? With my 200RP You'd be able to buy a Jukon but Idk how much good it'd do ya.
Alternatively, I could give you guys most of my RP To East Asia and you can use it to bolster Manilla's Defenses with some Howitzers or Large MPC's or something.

If you could send the 200 rp that'd be awesome. would be able to allow a Jukon for that captain I have, and if I can get rest of people to transfer rp to Tian or Joseph, would help put a gaw in the air.

We need to be careful how we balance personnel and RP for East Asia. I realize we're a little outgunned in that zone at the moment, we don't want to overcommit probably.
I would recommend the following for you guys there now:
On Monday, get together and purchase 3x Zaku Cannons, and maybe a couple Howitzers for Manila. It's an island base and we have a strong air presence already, what we want to do is make sure they are unable to land ground troops (they HAVE to land troops to capture the base). With this much artillery, if they do try to land ground troops they will pay for it dearly. It's important you guys buy what defenses you can on Monday, because if you are sieged on Monday you won't be able to buy anything on Tuesday.

Why not also spend some extra RP to bump it from a fortification to a fortress and make it even harder to capture?
Mines might not hurt either.

That's a pretty solid idea actually. A Fortress would allow for more defenses to be added to the installation, so if you are going to make a substantial investment into the region it'd be nice to have.
