I liked the later idea Cid and I had. He would be GI Joe in the GMPGT, and I would be Cobra Commander in the Cobra Gundam. The only thing we would EVER do is ambush each other, and we'd have RP posts like this:
GI Joe sneaks up behind some pilots, and pats them on the back.
"Remember, fellow mobile suit pilots! Always wear your seatbelts."
The pilots turned around and smiled wide.
"Wow! Thanks GI Joe!"
G. I. JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEEEE

No closing thread, just an announcement that he had closed forum joining and had uncovered some sort of OYW plot to flood the forums.

I sent an email to the 20-ish people who were in FI but not OYW and invited them to check us out. I got one nasty response from somebody I don't know and nothing else.
Was hoping I'd get 1-2 apps out of it, but I guess Kuriboh was right when she told me that the people who aren't already in OYW are the people who I don't really want in it.

I pretty much couldn't care less about office politics here, as there are more important things to worry about...like, I dunno, socks with holes in them.
But in either case, I do have to agree that not having events done on time sucks ass, is annoying, and people who do such a thing should be shot on sight. *hides behind Alecto shield*
I sucked as a game runner, when I did run MSGWars, but I came out it with more patience and understanding about when shit goes down.
The only time I really had any fun was that OSHI-- moment with the Vanguard on Mercury. I was afraid of us dying until we started winning...and then everyone ditched the ESA leaving me and a few others up shit's creek. Kinda lost interest after that.
Ah well, say a few words, give a prayer or two, and let's pile on the dirt.
