Fixed some typos in the rules and reworked a couple of things. Thanks, Threid!
In particular, the way patrols work has been changed slightly, as have 1-2 of the stealth bonuses and penalties. A major change: you may now move while damaged.

Just an update to let you know where we’re at. Vlad is busily chugging away on profiles– the bottleneck here is making lots of black and white lineart for MS as it’s a slightly tedious prospect. After that, all that is to be done is to mod the shop somewhat and integration of MS buying into bases.
Speaking of which, there’ve been some edits to the shop over the past few days, mostly in the bases section (terrain modifiers are now listed). I do plan to have the ‘common base defenses’ post from the forums converted into page form for your convenience, I just need to hash out RU costs. Likewise mines are being reworked somewhat as I was never satisfied with their implementation in FI.
I am considering changing genotypes a bit so that they work a bit like elite units from the past RPG– you hire one, but they come with their own MS and level (selected semi-randomly from a small pool of appropriate units), or potentially, removing them. Historically such genotypes are rare, after all ;p

The new rules have been updated; some things referenced elsewhere (the enhanced simbase doc, the new maps and movement times, etc) havn’t been updated yet, however. Joining is still not open, but, if you havn’t been paying attention to the forums, reservations are.
