SHOPPING
The '
Shop' page is here you will find all items you may feel the need to purchase along your travels in Illcara. You can only buy specific types of things where such a shop is available in the settlement. However, there are several traders scattered across the wilds too that will offer select items as well, but like purchasing in settlements, you must be at the same location. You may buy and sell as many items at the same time as you wish, so long as you’ve the funding to support it.
You may buy and sell in the same action.

For further purchasing information, check the various shop pages.

Telepads
Newly invented magical creations, telepads allow for almost instantaneous transport. However, the price for this convenience is quite high. They only transport between pads which means from major city to major city.
The telepad reduces travel time between cities to one day and costs 1,250 rin per use.

Ship Passage
Characters cannot move over open bodies of water as they are too deep without purchasing passage on a ship or owning a ship. Inland lakes are acceptable without ships. Ship passage moves three squares per day.
You are not purchasing ship passage, you will have to factor walking the distance into your travel time.
Ship passage costs 200 rin per trip.

Dragons and Gryphons
When a character acquires the "
Dragon Rider" or "Gryphon Rider" they do not immediately recieve a mount. They then need to journey to one of the dragon roosts or the gryphon nest (marked on the map) to acquire their mount.

SMITHING AND CRAFTING
With the appropriate skills, a character can fabricate their own arms and armor and other trinkets. This is done through the purchase of materials in the 'Shop' page, then by sending in an action to do so. The appropriate form is:

Email Subject: Smithing/Crafting
(whichever you are doing), (your character name)

LOOTING

When you kill another player, you may loot the body of anything useful. However, this doesn't happen automatically. If you wish to loot an opponent upon killing them, please state as such in your assassination email. If not, the loot will be free to anyone.

You may also loot long dead corpses that another player didn't loot. You may loot only one body per day, which counts as a daily action. You must also be in the same place as the person you wish to loot. To loot a corpse, the form is as follows:

Email Subject: Looting,
(your character name )
Name of Character:
Name of Target:
Location:
What you wish to loot:

Any dead characters in the ‘Halls of Honor’ cannot be looted.

SETTLEMENTS
Anyone can create a settlement. They are great for both income and defense alike. The various buildings and available troops make this possible. With settlements, there is also a defensive value. Defense values are raised by hiring troops and siege weapons, and with the purchase of walls. This value can decide whether a settlement will rise or fall.
