| Ultimate Hulk vs. Ultimate Wolverine Outcome: Read it to find out! I'm not spoiling it! Healing: Both have suitable healing factors to pick up the tab. Summary: The two entered from the harsh long road. For an instant, neither recognized the other, at least not superficially. Wolverine had mutated to his 'ultimate' form. He was taller now, but he was just as quick and lean as his lesser form had been. A fully realized assassin, Wolverine was no longer afraid to kill in any situation. But Hulk had undergone changes as well. His form was mangled and grey. Yet unlike his original grey counterpart, Hulk was far from a chain-smoking gangster. In some ways, he was a vastly deteriorated version of the modern Super Soldier. The Gammasphere that exploded upon him was more than pure concentrated gamma rays. It also contained fragments of an attempt to recreate the Super Soldier Serum, a compound Banner had worked upon so many years before. This new Hulk had a cold and calculating mind, irrational, brazen and insane yes, but in some chilling ways it remained utterly methodical. Hulk began the match with a bold leap towards Wolverine, who charged the behemouth, his claws unshealthed. The two clasped hands - claws against massive palms. They both jerked back in pain...the single blow had cut through Hulk's hand and yet simultaneously bent Wolverine's nearly indestructable adamantium claws. The two retreated back and circled one another. Wolverine shealthed his broken claws...which were already healing within his body, for his healing factor was no longer limited to his immediate body. Hulk's slashed hand was no longer a gaping wound but a pulsalating and quiver mass of grey flesh, constantly changing. Both duelists suddenly realized the futitly behind their thought as they faced each other down. Strength, skill, thought...it all mattered not. Chance had guided the hollows of their lives since the day they were born. Perhaps they should let luck fly... Charging through one another, they both launched one final blow towards the other. Hulk slammed Wolverine into the air with a mightly swing, but not before Wolverine cut deeply into Hulk's stomach. As Wolverine landed upon the ground, Hulk fell to the ground in a pool of irradiated blood. Wolverine was not left without a remainder of Hulk's attack, however, for the blow had crushed his legs, played ping pong with his internals and came a sliver close to breaking his neck. And that's all it was. One sliver of chance would have changed the outcome entirely. Limping away, it would take hours for Wolverine to heal from this events...giving him time to recollect his many tusles with the Incredible Hulk. |
| Scarlet Spider vs. Magneto Outcome: SS Wins Healing: None Summary: Scarlet Spider swooped upon the magnetic menace, plowing quickly into him before Magneto could see him upon his web cartridge. Forming shields about him, Scarlet Spider's furious attack was so much that Magneto could only vainly grasp upon Spider's ceramic-made webbing. Before Magneto could move to take Scarlet's iron cells within his body, he collaspes from the barrage of blows at lighting fast speed. |
