| This message is the last you’ll see being posted on an RPG run by me for quite a while... Over Christmas break I came to the realization that After Era started January 22, 2001. Right now it’s January 8, 2002. That means I started running RPGs nearly a year ago, and have been running Gundam RPGs for the greater portion of that time... Right now I think I need a break. I attempted to take one after After Era closed, but after the decline in Gundam RPGs, and Xavier’s failure with Legacy, I just jumped back “into the fray” without really considering the circumstances. I suppose it was both exciting and bad that we got fifty members in the matter of a single weekend... I know some of you have noticed my behavior in the chat lately has been extremely volatile. I’ve been attempting to balance both a good degree of “real life” activities, while still trying to run a Gundam RPG. Unfortunately all I’ve managed to do is become so busy, carrying on a mere conversation with a friend like Jon, Thomas, Ketara, or Ci basically involves them talking and me interjecting a “Heh,” or “lol.” Last night, when I found myself jumping on Ketara for doing something most battle writers always do, I knew it had gone to far... And since running an RPG where I mysteriously don’t update for two days in a row, do an update, and then skip another, is not exactly my style, I think I don’t have to say what the best solution is. I just wanted to thank all of you who joined simply because it was the sequel to After Era. Over the past three months I’ve managed to turn After Era into a full “alternate universe.” In the future I fully intend to write several fan fics about this “universe” we’ve managed to create together. Including the much-put-off Marcus’s Revolt. Well, thanks to all of you. These RPGs can never, ever last without the members that continuously cause the site to get exceeded bandwidth messages ; ). Cya all around. - Marcus |
