Mobile Suits: General Purpose: Leo: Cost: 60,000 credits Side Cost: 54,000 credits Fixed armaments: none Optional fixed armaments: - 2 x beam saber, stored in recharge racks in optional shield, hand-carried in use - shield, mounted on left shoulder - 2 x beam cannon, one mounted on each shoulder Optional hand armaments: - 105mm rifle, drum-fed, 100 rounds per drum - beam rifle, 20 round charge - "shorty" beam rifle, 20 round charge - bazooka - dober gun, clip-fed Notes: The Leo is a cheap to produce grunt suit. While it isn't a match to some of the other grunts suits it is easier to produce more of them. It sports a nice amount of variable weapons. It even has a space mode that is pretty much costless to change to. Its armor isn't all that strong but all in all this mobile suit is good in groups and with its low cost it is easy to get groups of it. Taurus: Cost: 150,000 credits Side Cost: 135,000 credits Fixed armaments: none Optional hand armaments: - beam rifle - beam cannon Notes: This mobile suit is able to function in atmosphere and in space. It was orginally designed for space combat but it was found to operate well in atmosphere as well. Also thanks to its fighter mode it can fly at high speeds on Earth and the other planets. Its weapons are both beam but this doesn't seem to be a problem for this mobile suit. Its beam cannon is also fairly powerful. A good buy. Serpent: Cost: 500,000 credits Side Cost: 450,000 credits Fixed armaments: - 2 x 8-tube missile launcher, mounted in shoulders Optional hand armaments: - double Gatling gun, can be stored on backpack storage racks - bazooka, can be stored on backpack storage racks - beam cannon Notes: This mobile suit is probably the best in the Earth Alliance Line. Its very mobile. On Earth it skate across the ground like a Dom. Its armor is almost as strong as the Gundanium alloy. Allowing it to take massive amounts of enemy fire before it is brought down. It is still vunerable to beam weapons like the Gundanium allow is but thanks to its mobility hitting it is hard as well. Also this mobile suit has a nice selection of weapons to choose from. A bazooka that packs a nice punch. A pair of double gattling guns for when they need to fire a huge amount of bullets at targets and finally a powerful beam cannon that can punch through most armor. Ground Use: Tragos: Cost: 200,000 credits Side Cost: 180,000 credits Optional fixed armaments: - 2 x cannon, mounted on torso over shoulders Optional hand armaments: - beam rifle, powered by rechargeable energy cap Notes: This is a heavy fire support unit. It has two modes. One is a mobile suit and the other can only be described as a hover tank. It sports heavy titanium armor so it is resistant to ballistic weapons while beam weapons will still punch through it like paper. In its tank mode it is highly mobile and it sports to heavy ballistic cannons that pack a nice punch. Perfect for helping defend a base or to help shell one to oblivion. Marine Use: Cancer: Cost: 100,000 credits Side Cost: 90,000 credits Fixed armaments: - 4 x torpedo launcher, mounted in arms Notes: The crab of the Earth Alliance navy. Its weapons are standard for a marine suit. It isn't as fast as some suits but it is able to hold its own. A nice cheap mobile suit for marine defense or attack. Pisces: Cost: 200,000 credits Side Cost: 180,000 credits Fixed armaments: - 12 x torpedo launcher, mounted in shoulders Notes: This mobile suit is more of a true transformable mobile suit. Its mobile suit mode actually looks human and it can stand on shore. Also it sports more weapons and better armor than the Cancer. If you can afford this mobile suit instead fo the Cancer you should buy this mobile suit. Flight Type: Aries: Cost: 100,000 credits Side Cost: 90,000 credits Optional hand armaments: - chainrifle, clip-fed, can be stored on wing hardpoint - 4-tube missile pod, can be stored on wing hardpoint Notes: This is a highly maneuverable flying mobile suit. While its armor isn't that strong it is agile enough to dodge attacks. It sports a more traditional armament of a machinegun type chainrifle and missle pods. A cheap flight type suit that excells at its job. Mobile Dolls: To have a mobile doll function on an installation said installation must have a mobile doll control center. Ships don't need this. Virgo: Cost: 150,000 credits Side Cost: 135,000 credits Fixed armaments: - beam cannon, powered by energy collector/generator on right shoulder, mounted on right arm Remote weapons: - 4 x planet defenser, generates defensive energy field, stored in racks in left shoulder Notes: This mobile suit is controled by an AI system. This AI system can prove to more than a newbie pilot can handle but someone with experience will find this mobile doll easy to predict and destroy. For weapons it sports a powerful beam cannon. It is strong enough to punch through the strongest armor. Also this mobile suit features the power planet defenser that blocks both solid and energy attackes. The planet defensers will even cause trouble for experienced attackers. Virgo II: Cost: 250,000 credits Side Cost: 225,000 credits Fixed armaments: none Optional hand armaments: - beam cannon, powered by external energy collector/generator - beam rifle Remote weapons: - 8 x planet defenser, generates defensive energy field, stored in racks in shoulders Notes: This mobile doll sports an upgraded AI system that will give experienced players trouble but once they get to the veteren level they will be able to handle these units rather easily. Also this mobile suit now comes with a beam rifle to allow it quicker attacks than the slow firing beam cannon allowed. Another thing to make this mobile suit hard to kill is that it holds 4 more planet defensers. Pilots: You can buy these for mobile weapons you have. Mobile Doll Control System: Cost: 100,000 credits Notes: Once you buy this you can't reverse it. This operates like a normal mobile doll but it can be put in any suit. It suffers from the same problems as the normal mobile dolls but operates at the level of the Virgo II mobile doll. |
