That little tiny thing there, is our map of Japan. There are 7 provinces (or areas of the map ), the six on the map, and then the northern island, which is just north of Province 1, or Mutsu. That's not on the map because it's an uncivilized and Barbaric country, where few Japanese ever go, and gods and demons still reign. Fun stuff, huh. Below are a list of the 7 provinces, link to them to read descriptions. |

Province 4 - Harima Harima is, for the most part, an overlooked province, not really having anything special. It's honestly a lot like Ise, only Kyoto and Mt. Hiei aren't there. The only real bonus of Harima is it's almost impervious to attack, as the only way to invade the area is through that small gap of land on the eastern side. This province is owned by the Mori clan. One thing Harima is famous for is Ikki Ikki (fanatical monk) revolts actually. Not all that sure why, maybe they don't like Terumoto. Locations - Shinano/Harima Border - One of many borders in the game, a "Border" isn't a location per say, it's just a dividing line about a modern day mile or so thick between the two provinces. It makes it take 2 days to get from one province to another, basically. Note that if the two provinces holding the border are at war, the border will be closed to non-Samurai of the invading faction, and if you try to cross it otherwise you may be attacked. Ise/Harima Border Aki - The city belonging to the Terumoto clan, Aki is a bustling trade city at the far western edge of Harima. Many of the merchants and Geisha in Japan live in Aki, and it's common practice for ships to dock in Nagasaki, trade their goods with Japanese, who will dock in Torimasa, travel to Aki, get the best prices, screw some Geisha and go home. Basically, this is a good place to buy and sell things if you need to. Location inside Aki - Izumo castle - Just your ordinary castle really, Izumo matches all of Harima in its plain, overlooked ability. Really isn't that much to say. Has gardens, terraces, tea houses, all the works. Just not very "special". Iga Village - So, if we have an entire province where nothing is really special, this has to be where all the ninja hang out, right? You guessed it. Home to the best place for training Ninja in all of Japan, the Iga Village is so secret, even I don't know where it is. You'll have to find it on your own... Torimasa - One of of our small port cities, Torimasa is basically the place you have to dock your ships at or buy ship fare to go to another province by boat at Harima. Other than that it's just a large fishing town. |
